This book is hooked in rows. Leave about 30 cm of thread before starting your chain (this thread will be used to sew the headband)
Step 1:
Make a chain of 12 meshes in the air,

2nd step:
Starting from the second stitch, make a tight stitch in each stitch (11 in total), then finish with a stitch in the air and turn.

Step 3:
Make a tight stitch (A) in the second stitch, then alternate as follows:
B - In the next stitch, start like a bridle by making a throw, stitch in the stitch, make a throw, bring back through the stitch, a throw and go in the first loop (you get 3 loops on your hook), then make a throw again (like the one who starts a bridle) then go back under the same mesh, make a throw and bring back through the mesh (you get 5 loops on the hook) and finally make a last throw and bring back through the 5 sts. (a small ball has formed).
A - 1 knit tight in the next stitch

Step 4:
Now alternate A and B until the end of the row that ends with a tight stitch. Knit in the air, turn and repeat rows 2 and 3 until you have the length to go around your head.
The work begins and ends with a row of tight stitches for easy sewing.

Once the headband is finished, firmly sew the two ends of the headband and then make a small fold to reduce the width of the headband (this is where the tie will be sewn)

Step 5:
Crochet the passerby:
Make a chain of 4 stitches in the air, then from the second stitch, make a tight stitch in the next 3 stitches. (You get 3 sts tight) at the end of the row, make a stitch in the air and turn and again 3 sts tight. Repeat this rank to get 12 rows in total.

Step 6:
Cut the thread to 20 cm, place the loop around the headband and sew.
