Change to smaller needles (5mm) to knit the ribbed edge.
Knit a first row of ribs, alternating * a purl stitch, followed by a purl stitch* to be repeated until the end of the row
Join in the round.
Knit 16 cm of ribbing: each row is knit alternating * one stitch right side up, followed by one stitch wrong side up* to be repeated until the end of the row.
Change to larger needles (6mm) to knit the body of the hat.
Knit in stockinette (right sides together) for 10cm.

You have 18 stitches left on your needles. Cut the yarn, keeping 15 cm of length. Thread your wool needle on your yarn and go through your stitches one by one to close the top of the beanie.
Finish your beanie by tucking in the yarn with your wool needle.
To embellish your hat, you can hang a pompom on it. In terms of customization, I also suggest you add a line of embroidery on the side edge with gold thread.
