Apply glue to about 80% of the surface of your earring. If you're unsure of your movements, I'd advise you to apply glue to half of the surface to start with, adding more as you go along to avoid sticking your fingers.

August is in full swing, and summer continues its journey of warmth, golden sunsets and impromptu jaunts. To prolong the spirit of freedom, we present the continuation of our Escale à Ibiza collection. This second part plunges you into a sunny, bohemian ambience with five new jewels made from colorful threads and bandanas. Inspired by the island's hippie markets, these pieces breathe creativity and carefree vacation spirit. Let yourself be carried away by their energy and explore this new collection with its air of bohemian dolce vita!
In just 30 minutes, create a pair of vintage earrings with blue and gold thread that are as simple as they are striking, perfect for accessorizing your vacation outfits and all your summer looks. For this model, we've opted for a timeless color duo: blue and gold. The principle is simple: wrap blue jade thread and then gold nylon thread around a pair of resin hoop earrings, securing the whole with a little Hasulith glue. This creation is ideal for beginners and requires very little equipment. It's a lovely, stress-free way to get started with DIY, and the result is a unique creation that smells of sun and sea!
Like all our tutorials, these earrings can also be customized to suit your tastes and desires! You can choose a different color of jade thread and use silver nylon thread to match your choice of jade thread color. The hardest part will undoubtedly be choosing!

Apply glue to about 80% of the surface of your earring. If you're unsure of your movements, I'd advise you to apply glue to half of the surface to start with, adding more as you go along to avoid sticking your fingers.

Start wrapping the wire around the glue, making sure to tighten each row of wire, without passing them over each other.

Wrap the thread along the entire length of the creole, adding glue if necessary and stopping half a centimetre before the end. If necessary, apply a second layer for greater opacity.
To ensure that the end of your thread is held securely on the creole, apply a light dot of glue on top.

Apply glue again, but on a thinner surface, leaving about 2 cm free on each side. You can now start winding the golden thread, making sure it's well aligned.

Once you've made the first layer of yarn, I recommend winding the yarn again to make a second layer. It will then be more opaque and homogeneous.
Your earring is finished!
