Thread the Murano pearl onto a ball-headed nail. Recut the nail to within 1.5 cm of the pearl hole. Use special memory wire shears to avoid damaging your traditional wire cutters, as stainless steel is very hard.

Here's an idea for earrings using Murano pearls. Murano beads are glass beads that have been made in Italy on the island of Murano for centuries. They are handmade, artisanal beads. Each bead is therefore unique. The beads we chose for our jewel are a pretty green tending towards turquoise. Inside, a gold leaf embedded in the glass gives the pearl a metallic appearance. These pearls are a perfect match for Aventurine natural stone beads. To set them off, I chose a highly original pair of creoles. They're made of 3 golden stainless steel wires. On the central wire, we'll hang the Murano pearl, and on the other two wires, we'll place charms made with Aventurine pearls and small sequins. The overall effect is both contemporary and bohemian.
Stainless steel is highly resistant to oxidation. It's the perfect choice if you want to create long-lasting jewelry at a lower cost than gold filled or gold plated. However, it is a very hard metal. You'll need special cutting pliers to recut your stainless steel nails. Conventional pliers can cut these studs, but the cutting edge of the pliers will be damaged.
To make these Bohemian earrings with Murano pearls, you'll simply need to learn how to open and close joining rings and form a loop on a stud to create charms. These are two basic techniques when you're just starting out in the world of costume jewelry. Feel free to use our videos to help you achieve these techniques. If you're a beginner, you can also take our free beginner's jewelry course, open to all. In 5 episodes, you'll learn the basics of jewelry assembly. Start with the first episodes of the summer season.
At the bottom of the page, you'll find the silver version and other pearl colors in the product variations section.

Bend the nail at right angles just past the pearl hole. Next, form a large loop with round-nose pliers by catching the end of the nail with a wide part of the round-nose pliers, then turning the pliers.

Pass your Murano charm over the center wire of the creole, then close the loop.

Repeat the above steps to make the other charms. On each thread on either side of the center thread, there's an aventurine bead framed by two round sequins. The round sequins are attached with open rings.
