Create dangling earrings very easily with pieces of chain. You can order the materials shown to make them, but this is also a perfect tutorial for using up your leftover chain. You'll need tulip shells, round head studs, ear studs and, of course, your chains! In this example, I've used beaded chain made up of small cylindrical beads in pastel colors resembling Miyuki Delica beads and gold tubes. I've combined this chain with leftover chain from this tutorial: Créoles tissage herringbone. Check that the chains you choose can be threaded onto the tutorial stud and fit into the tulip shell, otherwise adapt the suggested material.
These earrings are adorned with a shell-shaped stud to give them a summery look. You can also choose other earring shapes, such as flowers or classic ball earrings. The pretty pastel colors of the pearl chain will go well with a Miyuki bracelet like this one: Impair Peyote Bracelet. Replace the red pearls with turquoise pearls as on the chain. Don't want to start weaving pearls? This gold-rimmed bead will do just as well. For a necklace, wear a simple chain with a small gold pendant.
These softly colored gold dangle earrings are perfect for everyday wear, such as a colorful t-shirt or blouse. Their fresh, light design evokes a summer breeze, perfect for a seaside stroll or an afternoon of shopping. For a more daring touch, opt for fancy chains or colorful flower chains, for example.

Cut 9 chain segments of identical length using cutting pliers. In our demonstration, each segment measures 5 cm.

Unfold the nail ring by turning the opening with flat-nose pliers.

Slide the chain segments onto the ring, then close it. Make sure there's no gap between the end of the ring and the nail shank to prevent the chains from escaping. For added security, add glue or UV LED resin to the opening. Alternatively, close the ring with a pigtail.

Insert the nail into the tulip, then bend it at right angles.

Cut the nail 1 cm from the corner, then form a loop.

Attach the chain tassel to the earring.
