Step 1
Prepare your clay, taking 1/2 loaf of each color. Run them one by one through the clay machine at medium speed. Start by cutting a square from the white plate, then place a square of blue clay on top. Continue in this way with the crimson-red color and finally the yellow. Use the rolling pin each time you place a new sheet, to avoid trapping air between the different layers of clay.

Step 2
Pass the block through the clay machine at step 1 of the Imperia or step 2 of the Atlas, cut its length in 2 and superimpose the 2 parts. Be careful to alternate the colors. Repeat this step, i.e. 3 passes through the machine and 2 cuts to superimpose the blocks.

Step 3
Turn your clay blocks over to work on the white side. Talc your stamp, then press firmly on the white clay to texture it.

Step 4
Take your thinnest, most flexible blade. Gently carve your relief, starting from the center and working your way to the edges. Follow the patterns, turning your work surface as you go. Carefully remove any small scraps of clay that could obstruct the hollows of the textures.

Step 5
Take your 7 cm round cookie cutter to cut out your design. Cut the mandala into 2 equal parts.

Step 6
Use the crimson-red clay to make a plate the same height as the one you've cut out. Cut a strip and wrap around one half of the mandala, reserving the other. Place baking paper on the clay and, using a rolling pin or a rolling pin, smooth the pasta joints in small circular movements until they disappear.

Step 7
Cut the red clay, leaving just a few millimeters. Place your piece on a bowl to form a domed shape. Bake at 120 degrees for 20 minutes.

Step 8
Sand the surface and edges of your piece with 1000-grit sandpaper under soapy water. Turn the remaining half-round over, brush it with liquid polymer and place your 3 pompons in place.

Step 9
Place your baked piece on the half-round, pressing the 2 parts together, smoothing the edges with your index finger. Bake for 30 minutes at 120 degrees.

Step 10
Varnish your surface, starting with a very thin layer that you'll stretch, followed 10 minutes later by a second, thicker layer.

Step 11
Using a hand drill, drill 2 holes on the top edge. Cut 2 nails, leaving only about 5 mm to drive into the holes on the edge.

Step 12
Place 2 rings in the loop of the stems. Cut 1 meter of suede cord into 2 parts. Pass each length through one of the rings, butt the cord ends together and then crush them together with a clamp. Place a ring in the primer holes and a Lobster Clasp on one side only.

Step 13
Cut 2 equal lengths of sewing thread, wrap around the base of your suedes to tighten your cords, tie a double knot and cut.
