Take half a loaf of translucent polymer clay and cut into 4 roughly equal pieces.

Add a thin slice of opaque pasta on top of the translucent bits.

Mix your colors by twisting them on themselves and then crushing them. Form cylinders.

Cut each cylinder in half lengthwise, pierce with a needle, roll and stretch the cylinders between your fingers to work out their diameter. It should be slightly larger than the golden rings. Add a second brown cylinder.

Cut each colour to 4 cm long.

In a container put a base of bicarbonate of soda which will serve not to mark the pearls during their cooking.
Put a glass upside down on your table then place the pearls all around in contact with the table, lift delicately then put in the dish with the bicarbonate. Bake at 120 degrees for 30 minutes. Be careful that the glass is not too close to the oven, lower the rack and if you wish you can remove the glass from the oven after 10 minutes of cooking and leave only the pearls in the container.

Sand with two fine grits 800 and 1000, polish with a medium grit micro mesh like 3600. Finish with a flannel disc on a router or on the Dremel with its hose.
