Psssttt...Over here! We've heard it's time to hit the beach with a pretty new little clutch customized with a Miyuki weaving in Brick Stitch ! Weave the pattern according to the diagram. Start by weaving the bead line indicated by the black arrow. In Brick Stitch, you always start with the longest bead line, then weave in one side of the weave. Once you've completed the first side, return to the first woven line and weave the other side.
You can either glue the weave to a clutch, or glue it to a brooch. LilliAzalée offers another Miyuki Glace brooch tutorial in which she shows you how to make pretty finishes on your brooches with gold faux leather on the back.
To glue your weave to the pouch, measure the center of the pouch and place your weave on top. Check that the weave is centered by measuring each side, from the edge of the pouch to the edge of the weave. Glue the weave to the pouch using Hasulith glue. Leave to dry for 24 hours.
You can also customize your pouch with a philodendron pendant and pom-pom. Using pliers, attach 3 gold rings together to make a small chain. Thread one end of the ring through the zipper. Then pass a ring through the pompom and one through the charm, and attach them to the other end of the small chain made from rings.
