Hippie

There are times like this when you suddenly feel like going hippie! The hippie style was at its peak in the 60s. But today the hippie style is back in fashion but with a much more chic side. So, how do you create jewellery in a hippie chic style? To adopt this look you can accessorize your outfit with jewellery that will make all the difference. Make a multi-row necklace or bracelet with chains, cords, shells and charms. Create rings with cabochons, phalanx rings for a build-up effect. If you're wearing a bag, add fringes. Finally make a pair of earrings in a hippie style with tassels.

Don't hesitate to complete your look with accessories and by customizing your clothes. Add seashells, chains, Aztec patterns, fringes... Create jewellery with natural materials such as wooden beads, macramé wire, gemstones, mother-of-pearl pendants... To adopt a hippie style you can wear necklaces and bracelets in accumulation. This technique is called "jewellery stacking". The stones that are often used are : Turquoise, Rock crystal, Pink quartz, Labradorite, Lapis lazuli... For a total hippie chic look, think about barrettes, flower wreaths, headbands, hats, caps... Finally, make a macramé or raffia bag for the practical side of the outfit. Don't hesitate to match accessories and jewellery with your clothes. Adopt this hippie style that represents freedom, lightness and good vibes.
