What is the difference between Hotfix rhinestones and adhesive rhinestones?

Easy to use, hotfix crystal rhinestones do not require glue to be attached. They can be applied usingthe Hotfix rhinestone applicator for very precise placement or with an iron. Their flat, pre-glued backs are coated with a heat-activated adhesive, allowing them to adhere to a surface when heat is applied.
Stick-on rhinestones, on the other hand, are attached using a dot of glue.
