Use this set of 20 flat waxed cotton wicks to cast and make personalized candles.
Conveniently, you can burn the candle from either side.
How to make a candle?
- Melt the desired quantity of wax.
- Cut the wicks if necessary (candle height + 10 cm). Make a double knot at 2 cm from one end, and slide it into the mold. Wrap your wick around a skewer or pencil to hold it over the mold before pouring the wax.
You can also insert the wick by making a hole in the mold with a needle.
- Next, carefully pour the liquid wax into a suitable candle mold and allow to cool. The cooling time is at least 3 hours, depending on the size and thickness of the mold.
- Leave to cool completely and remove from the mold.
If the wick does not shorten while burning, reduce it to approx. 1 cm.
