Enhance your Miyuki bead weaves with these Half Tila Crystal Graphite Rainbow, whose rainbow reflections on a graphite background add unique depth to your DIY jewelry.
The color of these beads is not an original MIYUKI color. It is achieved through a Czech coating
Their smoky graphite hue, enhanced by a rainbow effect that shifts depending on the angle of the light, creates a play of reflections ranging from anthracite gray to iridescent shades of purple, green, and copper. These Miyuki Half Tila beads measure 5 x 2.3 x 1.9 mm and feature a flat rectangular shape with two parallel holes, allowing them to be easily incorporated into weaving patterns with multiple thread passes. They are half the size of Tila beads and twice the size of Quarter Tila beads.
What can you do with these Half Tila beads?
These Half Tila beads are well-suited for creating structured pointed necklaces or herringbone bracelets, where their double holes allow for the creation of precise geometric patterns. Paired with black or silver seed beads, they fit seamlessly into simple, graphic designs. They can also be combined with faceted crystals to highlight their iridescent shimmer in a woven bracelet or necklace.
Whether you’re new to bead weaving or already have plenty of experience, tutorials and technical guides are available to walk you through every step. You’ll find practical advice on choosing thread, managing tension while weaving, making the most of the Half Tila’s two holes, and tips for achieving a consistent and polished result.
Please note:
Due to their shape, the thinness of the glass, and the two-hole design, Tila beads are more fragile than other Miyuki beads.
To prevent the beads from cracking or chipping, Miyuki recommends handling the packets with the utmost care.
The use of a beading mat is strongly recommended when emptying the Tila packets.
Sold in 10-gram bags, containing approximately 250 beads
