Gold tone Chains

A gold-plated chain will be covered with a thin layer of gold less than 3 microns thick. It is plated with 24-carat gold. Gold-plated chain, on the other hand, contains little or no gold. Find out more about the differences between gold-plated and fine gold-plated in our technical data sheet.

Creating a necklace with a gold chain is accessible to everyone, even those with no experience! Here are the basic steps:

• Choose your chain according to the desired effect (thin and discreet or wide and statement).
• Cut to the desired length: 30 cm for a choker, 45-50 cm for a classic necklace, 70 cm and more for a sautoir.
• Add a clasp (spring, lobster clasp or magnetic clasp) at each end, using jewelry pliers and connecting rings.
• Personalize by adding a pendant, charms or pearls according to your inspiration.
