Bring your handmade dolls and figurines to life with this Cernit Doll polymer clay in Sun Tan—a clay specially formulated to recreate natural, warm skin tones. Ideal for sculpting faces, hands, or bodies with golden and tanned tones, it’s easy to work with by hand before being cured in the oven.
Its Sun Tan shade evokes a warm, natural, sun-kissed complexion, somewhere between golden beige and light brown. This shade is part of the Cernit Doll line, specially designed to reproduce realistic skin tones, from the lightest to the darkest. The clay comes in a soft 56-gram block and is completely opaque after baking.
What can you do with this Cernit Doll Sun Tan?
This shade is particularly well-suited for sculpting dolls, character faces, hands, or bodies with Mediterranean or sun-kissed tones. It can be mixed with other colors in the range to achieve the desired skin tone, or combined with additives such as glitter or alcohol-based ink before baking for more creative effects. Textured plates, silkscreens, or wooden rollers can be used to add texture and detail to your creations. After baking at 110–130°C for up to 30 minutes, the clay hardens while remaining slightly flexible and can still be sanded or painted.
Whether you’re new to polymer clay modeling or already have experience, technical guides and practical tips are available to help you choose tools, manage color mixing, and master finishing techniques. This will help you progress at your own pace and refine your Cernit clay creations.
