Pendants Gold Filled
Gold filled pendants are the perfect choice for elegant, long-lasting jewelry creations. Each pendant is designed to combine beauty and longevity, thanks to a genuine gold finish!

Gold Filled pendants are an excellent compromise between luxury and affordability. Unlike gold plating, which relies on a layer of gold applied by electrolysis, Gold Filled is manufactured by fusing a thick layer of real gold with a base metal, guaranteeing proven durability. This manufacturing method not only makes pendants more resistant to wear, but also more economical than solid gold.
Our collection of Gold Filled pendants offers a wide variety of models: modern geometric shapes, more classic designs or pendants adorned with fine stones, ideal for personalizing your creations.
Whatever your inspiration, you're sure to find what you're looking for! To hang from necklaces, slide along bracelets or integrate into bespoke earring creations, Gold Filled (rolled gold) pendants go everywhere.
They offer a brilliant finish and a soft texture to the touch.
Gold Filled is particularly appreciated for its resistance to wear over time. This means that your pendants will retain their brilliance for many years, even with daily wear. What's more, unlike other materials, they don't discolor easily, giving you a quality piece that will stand the test of time. Choosing a Gold Filled pendant means opting for a high-end material at an affordable price, ideal for all your personalized jewelry creations.
Can a Gold Filled pendant be worn every day?
Yes, Gold Filled is robust and built to last, with excellent resistance to everyday wear and tear. Gold Filled is less prone to oxidation, while remaining slightly more fragile to repeated rubbing, depending on the context.
Our care instructions for daily use:
- Clean gently (soapy water + soft cloth, no abrasive products).
- Avoid prolonged contact with perfume, chlorinated water or acids.
- Wear alone or layered to reduce friction between parts.
How do I engrave a piece of Gold Filled jewelry?
Engraving is possible, provided it remains light and controlled.
Two common methods:
- Stamping punches: suitable for medals or charms at least 0.7 to 0.8 mm thick. Risk of embossing if the plate is too thin.
- Dremel engraving: first draw your pattern or text by hand with a black felt-tip pen, then delicately engrave. Caution: this may accelerate the tarnishing of the gold layer.

Can a Gold Filled pendant be soldered?
Yes, you can solder a Gold Filled pendant, but you have to be very careful.
Gold Filled consists of a core (often brass) covered with a thick layer of gold (at least 5% of the total weight). Soldering (brazing) is not recommended, as the heat and subsequent filing required may damage or remove the gold layer, compromising the jewel's finish and durability.
For those who still wish to solder:
- Limit brazing to one or two operations at most.
- Use a gentle, reducing flame, with little oxygen.
- Work quickly to avoid overheating.
- Use gold solder (9 K, 12 K or 14 K), in very small quantities.
- Avoid filing off the excess, as this may damage the gold layer.
