This product was made with recycled silver.
It is coated with an anti-tarnish varnish.
If you wish to plating this product, this layer of varnish must be removed with abrasive paper.
Note that 925 Sterling Silver oxidizes on contact with air. But there is no need to worry because it cleans itself very easily.
