Start by cutting a 2 cm-wide strip along the bandana.

The bandana is making a comeback for summer 2025, and now it's inviting itself into your DIY creations with this DIY bohemian bracelet. Inspired by our Escale à Ibiza collection, this tutorial shows you how to transform a simple piece of fabric into an original, fashionable and easy-to-wear piece of jewelry. The idea? Slip a piece of blue bandana into a golden stainless steel drop chain, then add a few stainless steel charms to personalize the whole.
The contrast between fabric and steel creates a pretty play of materials, perfect for summer. The royal blue of the bandana may not be right for summer, so feel free to choose another color. We've got over thirty colors to choose from: pink, red, yellow, orange... And even Tie and Dye bandanas! Whether worn as jewelry or simply in your hair, we offer similar tutorials to vary your look. As a necklace, bracelet or even a bag charm, you're spoilt for choice!
Simple to make, this tutorial is suitable for beginners and more experienced designers alike. In just a few steps, you'll have a unique bracelet, which you can adapt to suit your tastes: change the color of the bandana, add more charms, or play with lengths to create a multi-rang version.
Get inspired by the other jewels in the Escale à Ibiza collection, and create a complete look with bohemian chic accents. On our site, you'll find a wide selection of bandanas, stainless steel chains, charms and beads to personalize your creations. It's up to you: mix, tie, assemble... and let your creativity flow to the rhythm of the waves!

Start by cutting a 2 cm-wide strip along the bandana.

To make it even simpler, use the scissors to make one more strip, then tear it off by hand.

Measure the chain to get the right length around your wrist. Then take the next link and try to open it with a pair of wire cutters. Hold the link with flat-nosed pliers, and with your other hand, hold your wire cutter and pass it through the link opening (the circled part in the photo). Ask for help if you need it, as this is a rather complicated step.

Once the chain and bandana have been cut, thread the bandana through the chain links, passing it from one side of one link to the next.

After that, tie a double knot with the bandana at each end of the bracelet.

Using the rings, thread the charms onto the chain. A small star, a heart charm, the zircon star charm, the second heart charm and then the small star charm.

On the last links, thread a ring and on the other side the clasp to complete the bracelet.
