To begin, cut a strip from each of your two bandanas in the direction of the grain. If you're just starting out, check out our first bandana jewelry tutorial, which explains how to cut a bandana.

Then take your round carabiner and pass the two bands inside to double them.

You'll end up with 4 pieces of bandana. Here I've chosen to keep the two yellow pieces as a single band and to group the two pink pieces together, so that you end up with 3 strands to make a classic braid.
Once you've finished braiding, you can tie a knot to secure the braid.

Next, you can take your charms and insert them into open rings. To do this, open your ring with flat pliers, pass the charm ring inside and close your ring.
For the flower and teddy bear pendant, I used two open rings.

Take the pink screw-on clasp, unscrew it and slide in all your charms except the teddy bear. Screw the clasp back on.

Take your golden carabiner, and insert the pink clasp and yellow teddy bear inside.
Now all you have to do is hang your grigri on your favorite summer bag!
