The principle is simple: assemble a few pearls, a lemon pendant and a "Dolce Vita" heart pendant, playing with a chain to create movement and an asymmetrical effect. There's no need for complicated equipment or advanced know-how: just a few steps and you've got a look that's sure to please.
What makes this DIY bag jewel so interesting is how easy it is to personalize. Cut 10cm of wire, thread a crush bead through it and then thread the wire back through the crush bead. Crush the bead using flat-nose pliers or crush-bead pliers.
Add a pearl cover, then close it gently with pliers to hide the crushed pearl.

First thread a striped bead (KRM-072), then add a Heishi washer (INO-575).
Then add a white bead from the assortment (STQ-554), then another washer, followed by a green bead and a washer again.
Repeat this sequence once.
Thread a squeeze bead. Thread the wire through a wire guard, then back through the crush bead.
Pull the wire so that the bead to be crushed is positioned as close as possible to the last bead, then tighten it with flat-nose pliers.
Then thread the wire through the last beads before trimming off the excess.

Add a ring, open it and attach the pearl thread to the chain.
Then take a larger ring (ref: ACC-778 ) to attach the "Dolce Vita" pendant to the chain.
Finish by cutting off the excess chain with wire cutters.
Take a round-headed nail, then string the beads in this order: one blue, one light blue, one green, then one blue again.
Using pliers, form a loop by folding the nail over itself to create a small loop and secure the whole.

Add a ring to the top of the stud and hook it onto the clasp.
Then take the ring from the Dolce Vita pendant and attach it to the bottom of the nail.
