Jewelry stacking, also known as necklace accumulation, is ultra-trendy this season! And what better way to sublimate your creations than with a touch of spring?
For this mix & match of necklaces, I've selected acrylic flower beads in a variety of finishes: glittery, transparent with polka dots, metallic gold. The advantage? Layering works particularly well when alternating chain styles. Here, a rectangle chain provides structure with its graphic design, while a ball chain adds volume and original texture. The Forçat chain with gemstone flowers, meanwhile, adds a soft, romantic touch, perfect for evoking springtime renewal.
To achieve this stacking effect, simply cut the chains to the desired lengths to create a beautiful visual balance. I like to keep one chain shorter so that it rests delicately at the base of the neck, while the others gradually cascade. Once the lengths have been adjusted, all that's left to do is secure the clasps with connecting rings and position the pendant so that it catches the light beautifully.
The advantage of this type of jewelry is that it's totally customizable! You can choose to add other charms or play with finishes to suit your style.

Take your Forçat gemstone chain. At present, the chain on this model is 45 cm long, so recut it if you wish. Carefully open the spring clasp ring with flat-nose pliers. Insert this ring into a link on the chain, then close it carefully so that it stays in place. Place a 3 x 0.5 mm ring on the other side.
Place the rhinestone chain ends on either side of the chain. Fold over the prongs with flat-nose pliers. Chain measures 50 cm. Add the clasp on one side and a ring on the other. The ring is missing from the photo, but it will be easier to open and close the chain with an extra ring on the end cap. Slide a gold flower onto the chain.
Using two clips, open an open ring, insert an acrylic flower of your choice, then close the ring to secure the element. Thread it, along with a gold flower, onto the rectangle knit choker.
For the final necklace with ball chain, attach ball chain ends to the ends and then add the clasp and an open ring. On this model, we've attached a transparent polka-dot flower with a 7 mm ring and another gold flower.
