Necklaces with charms are all the rage. This summer, create your own with sea-inspired charms. This Charms Océan necklace in gold-plated stainless steel is the perfect accessory to add a touch of originality to your summer outfit. Stainless steel is the ideal material for summer jewelry because of its resistance to corrosion and tarnish. So it's resistant to water and perspiration. You can strut your stuff on the beach or by the pool with your necklace without fear of damaging it. What's more, it's hypoallergenic, making it ideal for people with sensitive skin.
For this necklace, we offer a selection of ocean-related charms: a glass crab and ceramic starfish, turtles and fish. (Be careful, these are brittle materials, so avoid dropping your necklace on the tiles!) Feel free to personalize your necklace with other charms. The idea behind this type of jewelry is to tell a story. Each charm can represent a memory, a passion or an inspiration. By opting for ocean-inspired charms, you can create a necklace that evokes memories of beach vacations, scuba dives or simply your love of the sea. For a minimalist look, opt for a few well-chosen charms spaced along the chain. For a bolder style, create a necklace rich in charms, with every centimeter of the chain telling a new maritime story. Or take inspiration from Margaux's charms necklace.
Although gold-plated stainless steel is renowned for its durability, it's essential to take good care of your necklace to keep it looking its best. Rinse it in clear water and clean it regularly with a soft cloth to remove any traces of salt or sand. When you're not wearing it, store it in a dry place to avoid prolonged contact with moisture. This simple care will ensure that your Charms Océan necklace remains as beautiful as the day it was worn.

Add a lobster clasp on one side with an open ring.

Choose your charms and spread them out to see how they look. Thread a gold 11/0 seed bead onto the nail before passing the charm over it, as the head of the nail is too small and the nail will pass through the charm.

Once you've threaded the charm onto the nail, bend the nail at a right angle a little past the charm. Use round or flat-nose pliers. Don't bend it too close to the charm, as the pressure may damage it. Next, grasp the end of the nail with round-nose pliers and roll it in the other direction with the end of the round-nose pliers. This forms a loop. Don't attach the nail directly to the collar. Attach a ring to the necklace and the nail with the charm to the ring. This way, the charms will fall better onto the necklace.

You can make this bracelet with your leftover starfish beads. You'll need :
*Remains of products used in the ceramic bead bracelet tutorial.
Cut 10 cm of wire and thread on a crushable bead. Thread the end of the wire through a wire protector, then back into the crush bead. Allow the wire to protrude by about 1 cm. Flatten the crush bead with special pliers and fold the bead in half. Close a crush bead cover over the crush bead. String your seed beads and starfish as you wish. Be careful, the seed beads can slip inside the starfish, so put a good quantity between each starfish. Hide the thread in the pearls. Once your threading is about 6 to 7 cm long, thread the bead to be crushed and the wire protection. Pass a piece of chain over the wire protector. Make the same finish as at the beginning to secure everything, and hide the remaining piece of wire in the beads. Adjust the length of the chain and recut it. Connect the end of the chain to the clasp with a connecting ring. For finishing touches with the crushable pearls, you can use the ceramic pearl bracelet video.
