With the festive season just around the corner, it's time to start thinking about decorating if you haven't already. Today, in this tutorial, we share with you how to make a resin napkin ring to decorate your festive table and add a pretty touch of gold. The little extra in this DIY? Every guest can take home their own napkin ring, as this creation can also be worn as a bracelet! This little gesture is sure to please your guests!
Note: You need to wait 48 hours between each layer of resin in the napkin ring, and make a minimum of 3 layers. More, if you want a smoother result between coats. Ideally, you should have several bracelet molds on hand, so that you can make layers of different napkin rings at the same time.
Protect your work surface with plastic sheeting, wear gloves (supplied with the kit) and ventilate the room while using the resin.

Epoxy resin is made up of 2 liquids that must be mixed together. The proportions of hardener and resin are indicated in the instructions for your resin. Generally speaking, one part hardener to 2 parts resin. Prepare 10 ml of hardener and 20 ml of resin to make the first layer of 2 molds.
Mix the two liquids in a paper cup for 2 minutes with a wooden spatula. Add the glitter and stir. Use the spatula to pour the resin into the mold, drop by drop to minimize spillage. Wait 48 hours for the resin to harden before applying the second coat. Store your napkin rings away from dust and sunlight.
In addition to glitter, add glow-in-the-dark beads to the second layer. Wait 48 hours and apply the third and final layer with glitter. Fill to the brim. Wait 48 hours before unmolding.
Remove excess resin by hand or with a scalpel.
