Lapiz and sodalite multirang bracelet

How to make a multi-rank bracelet?

You want to create a multi-turn jewel? You are in the right place! In this free tutorial, I propose you to create together a multirang bracelet. If you follow the different steps step by step, you will obtain an original and irregular jewel. Suitable for beginners, this jewel allows you to learn"How to form a loop with jewelry clips".

Do you like this jewel ? Do not hesitate to discover our entire collection of DIY jewelry"Le panier à bijoux", for silver jewelry with gemstones.

For this multi-row bracelet, I chose to use gemstone beads and chips, Miyuki and a pretty 925 silver chain. This piece of jewelry mixes textures for a feminine piece of jewelry with finesse. I opted for a jewel with different shades of blue by mixing the gemstones Sodalite and Lapis Lazuli. On our website, you will find different colors of gemstone chips and pierced pe arls to decline this jewel to your taste!

Attaching a bracelet to one's wrist alone remains a rather laborious task, even more so when one has to attach several bracelets. Unfortunately, "having trouble tying your bracelets" is not a valid reason to be late for work. That's where the multi-strand bracelet comes in. You'll only have one clasp to close and fool everyone with your bracelet, which could be four different bracelets. Nevertheless, to help you fasten your bracelets, don't hesitate to use our bracelet clasps so that your jewelry won't make you late in the morning. You can also discover all of our multirank tutorials.

This jewel has been designed for a wrist size of 18 cm, you can adapt the dimensions.

Tutorial steps

Step 1
Lapiz and sodalite multirang bracelet : Step 1

Cut a 20 cm wire.

Place a crush bead on the wire.

Thread the wire through one end of the half ring.

Then slip the wire back through a squeeze bead to form a loop. Leave the end of the wire a few inches past the bead.

Finally, crush the bead with a pair of flat tongs.

Step 2

Thread the Miyuki beads about 12 cm, making sure to also slip the end of the wire into the beads.

Thread a crush bead, add a ring and thread the wire back through the crush bead.

Tighten at the bead, and crush it.

Hide the remaining thread in the last Miyuki beads.

Step 3

We will now create a chain using nails.

Cut a nail so that you have a piece of 2.5 cm to 3 cm.

Slip a chip into it.

Bend the wire with pliers to make a 90° angle.

With round pliers, grasp the end you just bent and form a loop.

To better understand this step, watch our instructional video: How to make a loop?

Step 4
Lapiz and sodalite multirang bracelet : Step 4

Repeat the same steps to create a second loop on the other side of the loop, making sure to pass the previously attached ring through the loop.

Repeat the previous two steps to create a chain of approximately 11 cm.

When closing the loop, always remember to attach your new link to the previous link.

Step 5
Lapiz and sodalite multirang bracelet : Step 5

Once your chain is long enough, place a ring in your last loop.

Cut a wire of 22 cm approximately.

Place a squeeze bead on the wire.

Thread the wire through the ring, then slide the wire back through a squeeze bead to form a loop. Leave the end of the wire a few inches past the bead.

Finally, crush the bead with a pair of flat tongs.

Cut the wire end.

Step 6
Lapiz and sodalite multirang bracelet : Step 6

String the gemstone beads about 18 cm.

Place a crush bead on the wire.

Thread the wire through a ring, then slide the wire back through the crush bead to form a loop. Leave a few inches of the wire after the bead.

Finally, tighten the loop and crush the bead with flat tongs.

Cut the end of the wire.

Step 7
Lapiz and sodalite multirang bracelet : Step 7

Cut 18 cm of chain, (so as to make a complete turn of your wrist).

Open the ring you just added and slip the chain through.

Also add a ring to the other end of the chain to secure the clasp.

Step 8
Lapiz and sodalite multirang bracelet : Step 8

Attach the two charms to one of the loops of the half-ring with rings.
