Do you know the polymer slab? This new technique is very trendy, it is easy to achieve and all themes are possible. It is a surface technique that consists in superimposing on a plate of polymer clay pre-cut shapes to make various patterns by leaving all the reliefs visible.

Use the Pearls and Co modelling mat to transfer the bridge shape drawn on the left hand side onto transparent paper. Place your paper on the shape and iron over the outline with a pen.

Cut out the shape on your paper and then place it on a black polymer clay plate that has been run through the Impéria clay machine at notch 5, which is the notch below the widest.

Cut your dough following the contours of the paper with a cutter, repeat to obtain a second earring.

Prepare with a small quantity of pasta, the colours burgundy, ochre, white and cognac by passing them to the notch number 2 of the pasta machine.

Cut out 3 leaf shapes of each colour from the ochre and cognac pasta and set them aside.

In the white plate, cut with your blade two very thin slices, chop the first into small segments and then place the other filament cut in half to imitate a plant stem. Place the threads and press lightly with your index finger to stick them to the surface of the dough.

Cut your ochre petals in half lengthwise and then reconstitute them so that they are two-tone.

Place the leaves along the white stems, add small white lines on one side and then press the blade on the other side to make a texture.

Add small burgundy shapes and then three strokes of cognac color.
Bake your pieces at 120 degrees for 30 minutes.

Once the paste cooled you can with a very fine sheet of abrasive type 1000 grit pass on the back of your loops as well as the edges and if you can in the inner round of the bridge. Drill a hole in your earrings and then pass a ring to be able to pass it in the loop at the back of the ear studs. Feel free to share and show us your achievements from this tutorial.
