Before starting, prepare the final shape of your curls. You can choose to make the two curls identical or vary the shapes for an asymmetrical result. Here are some ideas.

Cut a good length of Linhasita waxed thread and place it on the ring with a lark's knot. For a reminder on the different macramé knots, you can watch our video: Learn the 11 basic macramé knots

Continue to tie the yarn around the ring. Start with the right or left wire first, depending on your preference, until you are about halfway through the shape. To tie the wire, continue to tie 1-wire lark's knots. Repeat this step until you have covered the entire shape. Finish by tying off the yarn, trimming the excess and burning the end.

Repeat this operation until you have covered all the rings that make up your earring. For more originality you can vary the colors of threads.

Once each ring is ready (cut and burned), connect them to each other with invisible sewing thread. To do this, sew the different rings together through the macramé weave. Tighten the thread so that the shapes do not move.

Once your shape is finished, simply connect it to the ear stud with a round open ring.

Your earring is finished! All you have to do is make the second loop to form the pair.
