Cut 1.5 m of yarn, fold it in half and tie it in a creole knot, keeping the same amount of yarn on both sides.
This tutorial will show you how to make a half twisted overhand knot. It is a very easy knot to make and when repeated over several centimeters, it creates a twisted effect.
Cut 1.5 m of yarn, fold it in half and tie it in a creole knot, keeping the same amount of yarn on both sides.
Pass the right-hand thread under the creole. Then pass the left thread under the right thread, over the creole and through the loop formed by the right thread. Tighten it by holding the creole with one hand.
Repeat step 2 as many times as necessary to cover the entire creole with knots. Occasionally add a bead to one of the wires before tying the knot, place it against the last knot, then tie the knot and pull it tight, bringing the knot closer to the last knot so that the gold of the creole is seen as little as possible.
Finish by cutting the two ends of the thread a few millimetres from the last knot. Burn it with a lighter or a thread burner. The wire burner will be much more precise than the lighter flame. Be careful, the wire can catch fire, if it does, blow on it to put it out. The goal is to melt this piece of wire on the knotted part of the wire so that they merge.
