This macramé wall hanging video tutorial shows you how to make a half circle with knots. The technique is not very difficult but there is a little trick. First of all here are the macramé knots that will be discussed in this video. You can find them in detail in our other video the 11 basic macramé knots.
These basic macramé knots will serve you for many other creations. Simply combine them to make other designs. They are notably used in most of our other macramé tutorials for decoration.
The decorative part with the resin moons is optional. You can create pom-poms with the same blue thread spool instead. Please note that if you choose the version with the resin moons, you will have to wait several days before you unmould your moons. You can use UV LED resin instead of normal resin to shorten the catalysis time, but in this case you will have to make much finer moons. If the thickness of the UV LED resin is too thick, it will remain sticky. Conventional resin is recommended.
The macramé wire spool colour used is blue FCU-937 which you can find at the bottom of the page among a selection of other colours.
