Cut 33 cm of gold filled wire and wind the end on the creole. Wrap the wire 5 to 7 times around the earrings. Tighten each turn. Thread a dozen 2 mm gemstone beads.

Follow this tutorial to make trendy creoles with small freshwater pearls and 2mm gemstone beads. The hoop earrings are made of 14K gold filled and the wire that holds the pearls in place is made of 12K gold filled. The "gold filled" refers to primers, usually made of brass, covered with a much thicker layer of gold than gold-plated, therefore more resistant to wear and tear. However, the gold used is generally less precious than gold-plated which is between 18K and 24K most of the time. This finish can be a good alternative for people who are allergic to costume jewellery or who are looking for jewellery primers that oxidize less quickly than gold-plated brass. Did you know that there is also hypoallergenic varnish to apply to your costume earrings? If you're worried that you might still have an allergic reaction to gold filled, you can also add a layer of varnish on the clasp.
These earrings in natural colours enhanced with gold for a more sophisticated look can be worn all year round, whether you're going to work or having dinner with friends. If you prefer brighter colours, we have a wide range of 2mm gemstone beads to choose from.

Cut 33 cm of gold filled wire and wind the end on the creole. Wrap the wire 5 to 7 times around the earrings. Tighten each turn. Thread a dozen 2 mm gemstone beads.

Wrap the thread with the beads around the creole and tighten it well.

When you arrive on the other side of the creole, wind the thread around it again, tightening it well and bringing the turns closer together. Cut excess wire if there is any.

Cut a new 33 cm piece of thread and repeat steps 1 to 3, this time alternating fresh water pearls and 925 silver gold beads. Wrap the Creole with the new thread at the base of the beads already attached. Wrap them around the creole to fill it out. Finish by wrapping the thread around the hoop a few turns at the base of the last gemstone bead.
