How to make a Wrap bracelet?

In this tutorial you will realize a Wrap bracelet two rounds with a central composition in Diamonduo pearls around a PureCrystal button . This tutorial is of intermediate level but is accessible to beginners by associating it with the tutorial " Bracelet Wrap white and golden with Tila beads, Rocaille Miyuki and pearlescent PureCrystal " for the basic explanations on the Wrap bracelets.

Step 1 :
Start by weaving the central beaded composition. Cut 1 m of weaving thread and thread 12 Diamonduo and 12 Miyuki 11/0 seed beads alternately. Iron the needle into the first bead threaded to create a circle with the beads. Iron a second time in the set of pearls and a third time in the first pearl to secure the whole.

2nd step :
Get out of one of the rockeries then put on 2 pearls of rock, the button PureCrystal taking care that the face of the button is on the right side then again 2 rockeries and finally pass the needle in the pearl of rock threaded to the previous step which is the opposite of the one from which you came out at the beginning of this step. Iron again in the set of pearls and in the button.

Step 3:
Go into a Diamonduo and go to the second hole of it. Thread a pearl Minos © and go to the Diamonduo juxtaposed. Repeat this step until you have completed the complete turn. In order to stop the thread, pass it in several pearls then tie a knot with the already existing threads. Put a dab of glue on the knot and cut.

Step 4:
Cut 50 to 60 cm of leather thread. Pass the button in, center it and fold the leather cord in half. Tie a knot at the base of the button. Cut 2.5 m of yarn, pass it through a needle and knot both ends of the yarn. Cross the cord with the needle at the base of the knot and start the wrap by threading 1 seed pearl. Hold it between the two cords, pass the needle over the upper cord and bring it back between the two cords , iron the bead in the opposite direction and pass over and under the bottom bead (or under and over). Repeat this for the rest of the rows. You have to fix 1 other rockery in the same way then 3 times 2 rockeries at a time, then a bohemian facet, 2 times 2 rockeries, 1 bohemian facet , 2 times 2 rockeries and so on until you put on 19 at 22 bohemian facet depending on your wrist circumference.

Step 5:
Add 2 times 2 rockeries, then 1 row composed of 1 rock, 1 Diamonduo and 1 other rockery. Do the same on the other side of the Diamonduo. Then 1 row of 4 rockeries, then 1 of 1 rock 11/0, 1 rockery 8/0 gilded and 1 rock 11/0. Continue following the pattern. Then continue by Diamonduo and a minos: 1 Diamonduo, then 2 then 2 Diamonduo and a Minos © in the center.

Step 6:
Add a Minos © as if you were going to weave another row and go to the Diamonduo. Then pass the needle through one of the Minos © pearls, then the Diamonduo and the other Minos © neighbors. Finish the row with another Minos © as at the beginning.

Step 7:
Attach the composition to the leather cords by passing through the beads of the composition and surrounding the cord as for a wrap.

Step 8:
Return to the first Minos © slipped in step 6. Go to Diamonduo and Minos © just above. Thread 2 seed 8/0 and go to the Minos © opposite as in the photo.

Step 9:
Iron in the rockeries and go to the Minos © from above. Go back in the beads and go around the composition.

Step 10:
Thread 1 Diamonduo and 1 Minos © as shown in the picture. Go through both Minos © and Diamonduo of the composition to get down and fix 1 Minos © and 1 Diamonduo again with the Wrap method. Step back into all of these beads to start the next row of the wrap.

Step 11:
Go through the second hole of the Diamonduo slipped into the previous step and add 1 Diamonduo, 1 Minos ©, and 1 other Diamonduo. Then go to the second hole of the other Diamonduo threaded in step 10, then finish the row as a wrap.

Step 12:
Go down to the central Minos and put on 2 seed 8/0 to fix them in the same way as in step 8.

Step 13:
Go back to the last Diamonduo to set a new Diamonduo accompanied on either side by 1 seed 11/0.

Step 14:
Finish the Wrap by following the picture below. Depending on your wrist size you may need to repeat the pattern 4 times. Secure the thread by knotting the previous threads and put a dab of glue on the knot. Tie the leather cords at the base of the weave and then tie another knot a little further. The space between the two must be enough to let the button.
