Have you ever tested alcohol inks on polymer clay? Here is a pair of earrings very easy to make. A playful and enjoyable tutorial to decline according to the colors of seasons.
Step 1
-Take a little white paste, pass it to the dough machine at a notch of medium thickness to get a plate. With a cookie cutter, take 2 rounds of 3cm.

2nd step
-Place your brass pieces on the top of your rounds by making a small shift. Cut the rounds with a blade following the straight line of the metal pieces. Pierce the semicirculars with a needle.

Step 3
Start by pouring 2 drops of ink on each round, taking the lightest ink. Tap the surface with a paper towel, you can do it several times.

Step 4
Continue in the same way with a slightly darker ink.

Step 5
Use the darkest ink, put it on paper towels, and tap the surface in a few places. Spray a little alcohol in a spray and then sponge with the paper towel, this blurs the ink boundaries.

Step 6
Take gold ink, pour 2 drops on each piece.

Step 7
Do not wait for the golden ink to dry, add a drop of dark blue on the walleye and a drop of the lightest blue ink on the second golden drop. Look at the inks repel each other. You can guide them by blowing on it, blur if you want but it is not obligatory. Put your pieces in the oven for 30 minutes at 120 degrees.

Step 8
Wait for the oven parts to come out cold. Cover the surface of your transparent liquid polymer earrings, simply spread it with your index finger.
Make a second baking at 150 degrees by preheating the oven for about 5 minutes. Watch your rooms not to exceed the recommended time otherwise you risk burning them.
The cooking is finished when the opacity of the liquid Sculpey disappears.

Step 9
Varnish with lacquer finish your curls that will revive the colors and protect your jewelry. It is often necessary to be very careful during this step because only the water-based varnishes do not melt the colors of the inks. Using liquid polymer is a trick that avoids a problem.

Step 10
You need for the assembly of 4 golden rings of 5.5x08 mm then studs.
