Take a small amount of white dough and pass it through the pastry machine at a medium thickness to obtain a sheet. Using a pastry cutter, cut out 2 rounds of 3cm.

Place your brass pieces on top of your rounds, making a small offset. Cut the rounds with a blade, following the straight line of the metal pieces. Pierce the half-rounds with a needle.

Start by pouring 2 drops of ink onto each circle, using the lightest ink. Pat the surface with a paper towel - you can do this several times.

Continue in the same way with a slightly darker ink.

Use the darkest ink, put it on a paper towel and pat the surface in a few places. Spray on a little alcohol in a spray bottle, then blot again with the paper towel, as this blurs the ink marks.

Take some gold ink and pour 2 drops onto each piece.

Don't wait for the gold ink to dry, add a drop of dark blue on top of the gold and a drop of the lighter blue ink on top of the second drop of gold. Watch the inks push against each other. You can guide them by blowing on them, blending if you like, but it's not compulsory. Bake your pieces for 30 minutes at 120 degrees.

Wait until the pieces are cool when removed from the oven. Cover the surface of your earrings with transparent liquid polymer, simply spread with your index finger.
Bake a second time at 150 degrees, having preheated the oven for around 5 minutes. Keep an eye on your pieces so as not to exceed the recommended time, otherwise you risk burning them.
Baking is complete when the opacity of the liquid Sculpey disappears.

Varnish your curls with a finishing lacquer to revive the colors and protect your jewelry. You need to be very careful with this step, as only water-based varnishes will not fade the colors of the inks. Using liquid polymer is a trick that avoids this kind of problem.

To assemble, you'll need 4 gold-plated 5.5x08 mm rings and ear studs.
