Create a stacking of necklaces, a delicate, luminous and totally personalized DIY thanks to this tutorial imagined for the Lumière d'automne collection featuring gemstones. Each stone is unique: its size, thickness and nuances can vary, making each creation truly singular.
Conceived as an invitation to prolong the vacation mood, this project combines three fine necklaces to be worn in accumulation or separately. Pink and white tones, a touch of pastel blue, gemstones in delicate shades, ivory Miyuki beads and golden charms inspired by the ocean make up a feminine, bohemian jewel, between summer light and autumnal softness.
This step-by-step tutorial guides you through the making of each necklace: the result? Accessible, poetic DIY jewelry that's just like you.
And best of all, this stacking is entirely customizable! Let yourself be inspired by our vast choice of beads, strings and charms to create the jewel of your dreams. Chip beads in natural gemstones (rose quartz, amazonite, aventurine...) offer a variety of hues and energies to create a necklace that suits you. Miyuki beads (Seed beads 8/0) offer a subtle play of colors or contrasts to suit your mood. Braided cotton cords and metallic thread add texture and softness. Gold-plated charms (shells, fish, hearts, octopus, etc.) highlight your creative universe.
It's up to you to create a bright, bohemian jewel that's 100% unique.
Don't forget to share your creations on Instagram, TikTok or Facebook @PerlesAndCo - we can't wait to see them!
Create a stacking of necklaces, a delicate, luminous and totally personalized DIY thanks to this tutorial imagined for the Lumières d'Automne collection, featuring gemstones. Each stone is unique: its size, thickness and nuances can vary, making each creation truly singular.

Necklace 1: Chip beads & round gemstone charm
Cut approximately 40 cm of nylon wire. Slide on a 2-in-1 Crimp bead, then a wire protection (optional). Pass the thread back through the Crimp bead.

Using flat-nose pliers, firmly crush the 2-in-1 crush bead to lock the wire.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 to close the collar.

Add an open ring at one end, and an open ring + Lobster Clasp at the other.
If you're opening and closing a ring for the first time, take a look at this data sheet: https: //www.perlesandco.co.uk/ressources/ft21911-ouvrir-un-anneau.html

Attach the 10 mm round gemstone charm (ref. LTZ668) to the center of the necklace with an open ring.
The first necklace is complete!

Necklace 2: Miyuki seed beads & gold charms
Cut about 45 cm of nylon thread, then make the same starting assembly as above: 2-in-1 Crimp beads + wire protection (steps 1&2).
Thread about 200 Miyuki beads (adapt to desired length).

Close the necklace as in step 4: an open ring on one side, and a ring + Lobster Clasp on the other.

Add charms using open rings (SST-391) and two flat clips:
Place the golden shell (LTZ-856) in the center.
On one side, add the mini round faceted gemstone charm (LTZ-250) and the fish charm (LTZ-876).
On the other side, attach the jellyfish charm + the shell charm.
The second necklace is ready to join your stacking!

Necklace 3: Cord necklace
Cut approximately 48 cm of cord.
Tip: to prevent the ends of the cord from fraying, apply a small dot of Hasulith glue to each side. This keeps the ends neat and flat.
Thread the rectangle "The Lovers" pendant through the center of the cord.

Prepare your charms: on two flat-headed nails, thread two irregular baroque beads, and on the last, the ex-voto heart.

On each side of the central pendant, attach a baroque bead mounted with an open ring, then tie a knot to secure them.

Place a lace clasp at one end of the cord and fold over one side with flat-nose pliers.

Fold over the second side of the lace clip. Repeat for the other end of the cord.

The third necklace is ready!

Your necklace stacking is complete!
Wear them together, as a duo, or separately to suit your mood.
Have fun personalizing them ad infinitum: change the color of the cord, vary the beads or choose your favorite charms to create a 100% unique piece of jewelry.
