It's impossible to open Instagram or Pinterest without stumbling across a stylishpiece of bag jewelry or grigri. And with good reason: it's the must-have accessory of 2025! Practical, expressive, infinitely customizable... the bag grigri is the fun little touch that adds character to any bag or case. From the daily tote to the beach bag or the evening clutch, it's everywhere.
This colorful, fashionable model is built around a hand-tied, multicolored paracord. Its flashy hues - Neon pink, lemon yellow, electric blue and a touch of green - add instant pizzazz to any creation. Two fine gold plated charms complete the mix: a sun and an XXL starfish, for a cheerful, sunny summer touch. A softer touch completes the ensemble, with heart-shaped pearly beads mounted on a gold stud.
This bag jewel can be made in just a few minutes, without any complicated techniques. And you can create your own version by choosing from our other paracord colors. More of a silver team? Don't worry, this model is also available with silver charms, for an equally fashionable and successful look! The best part? It's infinitely adaptable! Change the pendant as you wish, match it to your current bag or adapt the colors to your outfit.
A great idea for a personalized gift for a friend, your mom, your sister... or yourself! And why not imagine it also as a little attention for an EVJF, an end-of-year gift for the teacher or even to compose a special summer festival version, to hang on a backpack or a colorful banana? Cut 45 cm of paracord. Fold the paracord in half and pass the loop through the key ring. Fold the loop back on itself.

Take one of the free strands of paracord and start wrapping it carefully around the two strands of the loop plus the remaining one, holding it together tightly.

Make several tight downward turns. Make sure the windings remain aligned. Here, we've made 7 turns, but you can adjust the length to suit your needs.

Then pass the strand through the loop you formed at the beginning.

To tighten the cord knot, gently pull the end you've just threaded through the loop. Then use the strand at the top of the key ring to adjust the wrap and lock it in place.
Trim the ends (here we've left 8 cm on each side), then lightly burn them with a lighter to prevent fraying.

Next, take 3 heart-shaped pearly beads and thread them onto a ball-head nail.
Here, we've used One Step Looper pliers to form a nice, neat loop on the top of the nail - quick and super handy! But don't panic if you don't have them at home: flat-nose pliers and round-nose pliers will do just fine. And if you're a beginner or have any doubts about the method, our technical data sheet is here to guide you step by step. How to form a loop on a rod

And now your charm is ready!

Open a ring, pass the sunglasses and hook directly onto the paracord, then close the ring again. If this is the first time you've opened and closed a ring, take a look at our data sheet: How to open a ring to make a piece of jewelry?

Attach the starfish charm and the heart bead charm directly to the key ring with open rings. You can add an oval Lobster Clasp (reference: CLS-165) for easy attachment to your bag or case.
