Slide a 50x0.6 mm round-headed nail into a 10x9 mm freshwater pearl. Using wire cutters, cut the nail so that 1 cm of wire remains.

Vintage jewelry is still the big trend of the year! In this second part of the Winter Ball, you'll find jewels combining vintage jewelry and crystals. They'll be ideal to wear over the festive season, and you can also slip them under the tree as a gift for a passionate designer, or make them yourself. This collection was inspired by The Bridgerton Chronicle, and we can see ourselves wearing it to a London ball.
Discover in this tutorial how to make a pair of dangling earrings with chain and freshwater pearls. To make this jewel, you'll need Forçat chain, a pair of 4mm ball studs, freshwater pearls 10x9 mm and 6x5 mm, round head studs 50x0.6 mm and ball head studs 20x0.6 mm. For the tools, bring cutting pliers, flat-nose pliers and round-tipped pliers for forming loops. This tutorial is suitable for intermediate level users and will take around 40 minutes to complete. You can also personalize your earrings by varying the size of the freshwater pearls or adding color, as with the pearly pink freshwater pearls! There are so many possibilities, all you have to do is choose!

Slide a 50x0.6 mm round-headed nail into a 10x9 mm freshwater pearl. Using wire cutters, cut the nail so that 1 cm of wire remains.

Then form a loop using round-tipped pliers, and attach it to the ring on your ear stud.
You can also refer to our data sheet: Forming a loop on a stud or jewelry post.

Cut about 5 cm of chain with wire cutters. You can adjust the length of the chain to suit the look you want.

You can now attach the chain to the second loop of the pearly bead.

Slide a 20x0.6 mm ball-headed nail into a 6x5 mm freshwater pearl. Form a loop again, as in steps 1 and 2.

Hook your loop directly onto the loop where the chain is attached. You can repeat the last two steps to attach a second one.

Repeat the same steps with a 10x9 mm freshwater pearl and a round-headed nail. Attach it to the fourth link of your chain.

You can repeat these steps in the following order:
- a 6x5 mm freshwater bead and a 20x0.6 mm ball head nail on the 7th link of the chain,
- a 6x5 mm freshwater bead and a 20x0.6 mm ball-head nail on the 8th link of the chain,
- a 10x9 mm freshwater bead and a 20x0.6 mm ball-head nail on the 9th link of the chain,
- a 6x5 mm freshwater bead and a 20x0.6 mm ball-head nail on the 11th link of the chain,
- a 6x5 mm freshwater bead and a 20x0.6 mm ball-head nail on the 14th link of the chain,
- a 6x5 mm freshwater pearl and a 20x0.6 mm ball stud on the 15th link of the chain.
Your earring is finished! Move on to the second.
