Leopard necklace and heart pendants

How to make a leopard necklace

You've probably noticed, but leopard is THE trendy motif of the moment. It's all around us, in all shapes and forms. In our case, we've decided to make a charm necklace out of it, hyper-trendy and right up to date! Perfect for adding a touch of wildness to your autumn outfits, it would look great with a cream sweater, beige pants and pretty white sneakers. Leopard is the pattern that pairs perfectly with autumnal textures like leather and velvet. Find out more in our Autumn-Winter 2024/2025 trend colors fact sheet.

And why not make other leopard jewels to vary the pleasures? We offer a wide range of leopard-print products, so there's something for everyone. And if you need some inspiration, our"Leopard jewelry" tutorial category might be just what you're looking for. To go with this necklace, we recommend pairing it with the leopard tube beaded elastic bracelet, or the leopard acrylic link bracelet.

This tutorial is extremely easy and perfect for beginners. In just 10 minutes, you've threaded five pendants, closed the necklace with the bead and slipped the necklace around your neck. The rings are easy to handle and the pendants easy to thread. A few strokes of the pliers and you're done. With a few extra minutes, you can create this necklace in other colors using our silk ribbons.

Once your DIY necklace is finished, share it on your social networks, Instagram or Facebook and tag us! We love to see your creations.

Tutorial steps

Step 1

Start by threading a ring onto each pendant using two pliers (flat and round-tipped). Place each clip on one side of a ring and open it.

For the ribbed heart pendant(ACX-792), replace the ring supplied.

Need help opening a ring? Use our "How to open a ring" data sheet.

Step 2

Once the rings are closed, thread the ribbon inside in any order you like. Here, we've placed the round pendant in the center and two heart pendants on either side.

Step 3

Take your tube bead and cross the ribbon inside. Pass one end of the ribbon on one side, then pass the second end on the other. This way, the ribbon crosses over the inside of the bead, allowing you to close your necklace.

For added security, you can also tie a knot.

Bonjour,
