Cut two 4 cm pieces of chain, two 3.5 to 4 cm pieces ending in a crystal tassel and two 1.5 cm pieces of chain also ending in a tassel.
These dangling earrings are made with small glass flower beads, cone beads and gold chain. The principle is simple: the pearls are transformed into charms using loop-head studs. These little charms are then attached to pieces of chain hanging from the ear studs. As flower beads, I chose tulip beads, which are made up of two parts: the leaves and the flower, as well as cute little purple flower beads. These pearls come in many colors, so feel free to personalize your earrings with your favorite colors. These flower earrings can also be combined with other types of chain. For example, you can use leftover chains from other tutorials. These cute, delicate earrings are totally customizable.
If you make these earrings with the chain shown, you'll have enough chain left over to make a thin bracelet. You'll find a clasp and rings to transform this leftover chain into a bracelet in the product variations section of the equipment list. The result is a coordinated set of jewels: flowery, spring-like earrings paired with an elegant, understated bracelet. You can play with colors and chain styles to personalize them according to your current preferences. Whether you wear them to brunch with friends or for a day of shopping, they add that effortless touch of personality and style.
Note that in some cases, the chain links may be a little too narrow to accommodate studs and earrings. You can widen and round out the links by inserting a sewing needle.
Cut two 4 cm pieces of chain, two 3.5 to 4 cm pieces ending in a crystal tassel and two 1.5 cm pieces of chain also ending in a tassel.
Prepare your charms: Thread the leaves and flower of the tulip onto a ball-head nail. Bend the nail at right angles to the flower hole. Recut the nail to leave only 8 mm of stem after the angle. Wrap the end of the nail around the round pliers to form a small loop. Do the same with another set of tulip beads, then with 6 purple flowers and 4 cone beads. These are the charms for the pair of earrings.
Thread a sewing needle through the last link of the long chain that doesn't end in a tassel. Widen the link so that you can easily pass the tulip charm through the last link. Reopen the loop of the tulip charm, pass it through the link and close it again, leaving no gap through which the chain can exit.
Again on the same chain, harmoniously distribute two purple flower charms and one cone charm.
On the second 4 cm chain, which ends in a tassel, add a flower charm and a cone charm. Do not put a charm on the small piece of chain. Do the same on the other chain pieces for the second earring.
Open the ear stud ring. Preferably use two pliers, one of which will hold the short part of the ring soldered to the loop in place to reduce tension on the solder. Slide the three chain ends through and close the ring. Do the same for the other earring.
