How to make a bracelet from tube beads?

Discover in this tutorial how to make elastic bracelets with curved tube beads. We've used curved tube beads in different colors: blue, pink, white and curved glitter beads in multicolor, silver and gold. These beads come in two sizes: 32x8 mm and 35x11 mm. For this tutorial, we've used the 32x8mm beads, but you can find other beads in product variations. For this tutorial, to contrast the colorful tube beads, we've added rhinestone rondelle beads to match the curved tube beads in size 32x8mm and brushed-effect Heishi rondelle beads to match the curved tube beads in size 35x11mm. Bracelets are suitable for wrists up to 19 cm. If your wrist is longer than 19 cm, plan to buy a few more tube beads and cut more wire.

These bracelets don't require a clasp, just a double surgeon's knot to close them with the elastic thread. To make long-lasting elastic bracelets, please follow the steps below, which are also detailed in the following photos:

1. Cut 35 cm of elastic thread.

2. Stretch your wire to force it to relax. Elastic thread always relaxes a little at first. If you stretch it before making the bracelet, it won't stretch at all or much less once you're wearing it.

3. String your beads.

4. Tie a double surgeon's knot.

5. Tighten the wire. Also tighten from the inside of the bracelet.

6. Cut the wires to within 2 mm of the knot.

7. Put glue on the knot and slide the knot inside a bead to hide it.
