Place the ring on a piece of plastic.
Discover our stainless steel rings with their innovative design. These attractive, oxidation-resistant rings are designed to decorate flat gemstone cabochons. On the front, you'll find decorations that overlap the cabochon. This is why the cabochon is glued to the back of the ring. Usually, the cabochon is glued to a tray, or claws are folded over it. Here, you'll need to use an extra-strong, fast-setting glue to bond the cabochon with a minimum of surface area. This requires precision. The other advantage of these rings, in addition to their appearance, is that the cabochon won't fall off when the ring is worn, since it's wedged between the ring and the finger. But don't worry, we've tested the cabochons glued on with strong glue, and the hold is very strong! These rings are adjustable from size 50 to 60. Don't know your finger size? Visit our article on how to determine your ring size.
To choose your cabochons, preferably look at the cabochons listed as associated products on the product page of each ring reference. The cabochon must be absolutely flat and, in the case of oval rings, the oval shape of the cabochon must be virtually identical. You can also take a look at the cabochons listed below. Please note that there are three ring sizes for oval cabochons.
To make the video, we used ring reference ACX-853 with an 18x13 mm Lapis Lazuli cabochon. If you like the color of this type of stone, here are some tutorials you might like:
