Cut 1.5 sts of yarn and start the brick stitch weaving with the usual ladder stitch. Weave the bead line indicated by the box and the arrow.

In this tuto, we suggest you make a Miyuki beaded bracelet that zigzags beautifully on your wrist. This weaving grid comes from a former cherry blossom miyuki weaving kit that we offered in 2018, in a limited edition. If you've missed it, this is your chance to discover it again.
To make this Miyuki bracelet, we used the Brick Stitch weaving technique. This needle weaving technique consists in weaving seed beads in a staggered pattern. We've already seen this method in this beaded conch shell tutorial and these Miyuki chevron earrings.
This tutorial is intended for designers who have mastered the brick stitch technique. You'll need to know how to start a brick stitch weave, how to make decreases and increases, and how to move your thread through the weave.
To finish the woven bracelet, we used end caps connected to a chain and clasp. Handy when you've got a bit of chain left over in a drawer and don't know what to do with it!
Once you've finished this pretty piece of jewelry, you're bound to have some pearls left over, so we suggest you check out our other DIY jewelry ideas, all from the Miyuki Fleur de cerisier kit :

Cut 1.5 sts of yarn and start the brick stitch weaving with the usual ladder stitch. Weave the bead line indicated by the box and the arrow.

Raise to add the second row of beads. It doesn't matter which side you start on. We started with the top row. On each row on either side of the center line, a bead has been added: a turquoise bead and a white bead. Add these beads with the ladder stitch. These beads will be used to slide the weaving tip in. They will be hidden inside the tip at the end of the tutorial.
Go through the two turquoise beads at least 3 times so that the bead at the end is well fixed.

Then go through the turquoise and then dark blue bead as shown in the diagram. Then attach the dark blue top bead. The thread will show on both sides. Pass through the turquoise bead again and then the last turquoise bead of row 1. Weave the other side following the same logic. Continue weaving the bracelet.

Once the weaving is complete, put glue on the two end beads on each side and slip the weaving tips onto these beads sticking out of the weaving. Close the tip. Position the tip so that it is centered over the weave before the glue dries.

Test the weave on your wrist and measure the size needed to complete the bracelet with the round link chain and cut it. Then cut it into 2 pieces. Connect the chain to the ends with an open ring and add the spring clasp with more open rings.
