Cut 2.3 m of embroidery thread and tie the end on the creole with a double knot.

These double stainless steel creoles can be customized in many ways. In this tutorial we use embroidery thread, but you can also use raffia, macramé thread, fabric bias, creative paper etc. By the way, here is another version with smaller half hoop earrings: Design moon creole earrings in pink and brown raffia and gold thread.
It is also possible to weave beads around the creole as in this tutorial: Maxi Creoles woven Miyuki beads and facets.
These hoop earrings are currently only available in silver, but be aware that stainless steel is a very resistant material over time. These earrings will be perfect for the summer. This is an easy tutorial, but a bit long so be patient. All you will need is a needle with a large eye like a tapestry needle. These needles have a round tip so you won't get hurt. No jewelry clips are needed for this tutorial.
The DMC embroidery thread comes in many colors to suit your tastes as well as the small 4mm gemstone cabochons.

Cut 2.3 m of embroidery thread and tie the end on the creole with a double knot.

Wrap the wire around the stem where you made the knot and at the same time wrap the piece of wire to hide it. Come back between the two rods. Wrap it around the second stem and back to the center.

Go around the first stem and back to the center. Continue to do this until you reach the center of the earring. Tighten the strands as you go. After a few turns, cut off the excess wire.

Change the needle. Take the split needle, as the tapestry needle will not fit through the hole in the bead. Go through the hole before returning to the center.

Go around the bottom strand and then back through the bead hole. Be careful not to go through the strand at the same time, as this may create a knot. You may have to force your way through a bit. Then pass the needle through the center. Replace the needle and continue as before to hide the rods.

Pack the strands well. At the end, the hole is narrower so start again with the split needle. Finish with a tight double knot.

Pull the end of the thread through the coiled parts to hide it. Trim excess yarn. Put a touch of glue on the beginning and end knot.
