Thread moons onto round-headed studs. Bend the stud at right angles to the base of the bead. Recut the nail 1 cm from the angle.

There are many ways to customize little gold creoles with pearls. Here are four DIY creole designs to inspire you. Some are in gold-plated brass, others in gold filled (laminated gold). Gold filled is metal (often brass) coated with a layer of gold. The weight of the gold alloy used corresponds to 1/20 of the total weight of the product. The thick layer of gold makes the product more durable over time than gold plating. Gold plating generally has a purer layer of gold, but is much thinner than Gold Filled. As a result, these creoles will wear less quickly than gold-plated or Gold Filled, and will oxidize little or not at all. You'll be able to keep them for many years.
The advantage of making your own jewelry is that you know how to modify it later. For example, one year you can choose to make creoles with amethyst beads, and the following year replace them with turquoise in less than 5 minutes. No need to buy new creoles! You'll just need to buy new pearls and ball-head nails if you run out.
And don't forget to reuse your leftover beads for other projects or gifts. For example, the small beads in the earrings in the tutorial photo are leftover beads from another tuto: Les Bracelets Chics en perles created by Jade. The faceted oval beads used in the 3-hoop creoles are also leftover from this tutorial: Bracelet chic aux reflets orangés. Consider pooling the basket of these two tutorials to optimize your basket. The earring basket may seem high, but if you count only the cost of the material used, the Gold Filled earrings come to less than 24 euros. The remaining material can be used for other tutorials.
Another example: the mother-of-pearl moons are sold in sets of four. You can make two pairs of creoles with these beads and offer the second pair as a gift.

Lunes earrings
Materials used: EAR-333, ACC-511, NA-556 (x2)
Thread moons onto round-headed studs. Bend the stud at right angles to the base of the bead. Recut the nail 1 cm from the angle.

Grab the end of the nail with round-tipped pliers and turn in the opposite direction to the fold to form a loop. Before closing the loop completely, slide the creole ring with the stars and moons inside.

Amethyst earrings
Materials used: EAR-558, ACC-511, GEM-975 (x2)
The technique is exactly the same as for the creoles with mother-of-pearl moons. You can make them with Amethyst tubes or pucks.

3-ring hoop earrings
Materials used: GLD-841, GLD-181, FW-106 (x4 beads), GBS-052 (x2 beads)
These creoles with 3 beads each are made with thinner nails. This time, we're going to make a pigtail loop. This is a loop where the wire that forms the loop comes to wrap under the loop. This method prevents the loop from opening up later. It's a little more complicated than the previous method. It's generally used with fine metal wires.
Grab the nail with the round-tipped pliers, just above the bead hole. Wrap the wire around the round-tipped pliers by hand. See charm on right in photo. Next, hold the loop with flat-nosed pliers and continue winding the wire under the loop, making at least two turns. Cut off the excess wire and fold the end back against the nail.

Repeat step 4 to make the other charms.
Open the creole rings with pliers. Do not stretch the opening to open them. Rotate the end. Repeat to close. Check that the ends of the rings touch. If a gap remains, use the pliers to move them back and forth slightly to force them to touch.

Creoles with small pearls
Materials used: GLD-707, GLD-261, GLD-181, RVC-436, RVC-648, RVC-649
The last model is made up of lots of little beaded charms. They're all made from pigtails. To simplify stringing and change bead colors as you wish, thread a 7 mm ring onto the creole and attach the small beads to the 7 mm ring. These are 5 beads in randomly chosen colors.
