Spring is here, nature wakes up and the first flowers warm our hearts. Here is a tutorial to make earrings of pansy flowers with 4 colors of Fimo clay. A precise step by step of 17 steps to show you how to make pansy petals and thus compose the flowers. These very realistic imitations can be used to create pendants, barrettes, bracelets, a whole floral collection opens to you.

Take two bars of light orange dough, two of purple and a little less sunflower yellow. Condition the doughs separately and then form cylinders of the same length by placing them side by side, pass the roller over the whole.

Run the dough sheet lengthwise through the dough machine first to notch number 6 of the Imperia (the widest) and then roll out to notch 4.

Cut strips of about 3 cm in length. Take some black dough and put it in the MAP at step 4.

Stack all your rectangles by putting two strips and on the third one you put a black strip cut to the same size as the purple part. Continue in this way until the end. Add a little yellow and orange on the sides so as not to obtain a pyramid, pass the roller on the whole.

Press the top in the middle of the rectangle to make it wider and thinner. Cut into two parts.

Overlap your two parts, pass the roller and then repeat as for the previous step always with the aim of widening and refining the thickness.

Pass the roller again, start one last time (this is the fourth) to expand, condense and stack the two parts.

At this point the lines are fine enough to start shaping and reducing the pansy petal cane, start by pinching the ends on the yellow side.

Pinch the edges of the orange side, bring the corners towards the center, round it off.

Reduce your cane, lengthen it, you can give it either a round shape for this step or a slightly triangular shape.

Continue reducing until you have a length of about 15-16 cm. Cut into 3 equal parts.

Gather two of these three parts to obtain a cane which will be used for the bottom part of the flower.

Add two small pieces of orange strips on each side of the double petal, place a piece of baking paper and smooth it with your finger until you can no longer see the joints, the petal will also expand.

Add orange under each single petal, smooth as in previous step.

Take some purple dough, put it in the machine thick notch. With a cookie cutter, cut out 4 circles of about 15 mm, this is mainly to have the same amount of dough. Crush under your fingers the rounds, pinch one end and then smooth with paper to erase your prints. The purple petals should be larger than the single petals.

Build your thought starting with the purple petals then the single and finally the double petal. For the latter can hold add before positioning a piece of purple dough that you will have previously welded to the rest. With a cutter remove small pieces in the purple petals to give an aspect gondolé.
Start cooking your flowers at 120 degrees for 30 minutes.

Glue your earrings on ear studs with a resin in the form of a paste that will harden in 24 hours for a solidity to all proof. You have two components, you must take the same amount of both and mix them, here, you need very little, once made the paste will harden and can not be stored for another use.
Don't hesitate to show us your creations inspired by this tutorial, it always makes us happy.
