In this video you will make cute earrings in the shape of hearts with peas, they are mounted on silver mini-creoles. The pattern is made from a stencil adapted to the polymer clay it is a silkscreen, the fineness of its screen gives a rendering of great precision and its use is not difficult. Prepare your colour by mixing a very pale pink with a tiny bit of red to enhance its colour. Twist the two colours together and pass them through the pastry machine, folding the pastry over itself at each pass, continue until you get an even shade.
Place your screen printing screen on the dough, pass the roller over the set so that the two are in good contact. Spread red paint on a card and cover the entire surface with it. Remove your stencil, wash it immediately under soapy water with your fingers so as not to damage it, the paint must not dry on the silkscreen otherwise it will be irrecoverable. Wait 5 or 10 minutes for the surface to dry.
Take the heart punch, the largest of the three models, to remove two hearts from the polka dot plate. Bake your pieces in a Brillantstic oven at 120 degrees for 30 minutes.
Wait for your parts to cool and harden before drilling them with a hand chuck with a hole in the top center. Take a soft abrasive with a thousand grit for example to sand the sharp edges as well as the underside of your hearts, do not sand the pattern as the paint will leave immediately. Pass the thread of your mini-creoles through the hole in your loops.
