How to create an epoxy resin lamp with a silicone mould letters love? This technique is easy and quite feasible by a beginner, you just have to follow the step by step in this video, you will find all the products and material you need in the tutorial basket under the step-by-step explanations. This decorative table lamp is a sure value for a warm winter decoration and it is you who will have done it.

Tutorial steps

Step 1

Prepare your mixture with two doses of epoxy resin and one dose of hardener, i.e. 60 ml of resin and 30 ml of hardener. Stir the two components with a stick in a cup, add 6 drops of pink dye with golden highlights, the colour should remain very pale. Wait 15 minutes for the bubbles to disappear before using it.

Step 2

Unroll your light garland, make sure that it is working properly before inserting it into the silicone mould with the letters love.

Step 3

Pour all the resin into the mould, add a few petals and fragments of gold leaf. The mould is not filled to the rim to avoid overheating when setting the resin, this can happen when pouring a large amount into a mould. This will also allow you to control that the wires do not come out of the mould. Wait until the next day before continuing the filling process.

Step 4

Mix the two components of the epoxy resin again with the same quantities as the first time, don't forget to add colouring. Wait at least two days, three days is better before unmolding your love lamp.

il ne faut qu'un kit résine (100ml de résine et 50 ml de durcisseur) alors que les deux mélanges nécessitent 120ml de résine et 60ml de durcisseur. il faut donc acheter 2 kits résine?
