Polymer yarn textured earrings

Take half of a 57g loaf of Fimo cherry red dough, add a very small piece of black dough the size of a corn kernel. Make your mixture by passing the dough through the dough machine as many times as necessary, folding it over itself at each pass until you get a uniform colour. Use a fine enough notch to make it go faster.

Divide the dough plate into two parts, compress one half in your hands, make a ball and roll it on a stand to make a cylinder that fits into the extruder. Place your dough in the extruder, add the disc with 19 small holes in the part that screws in, close the extruder and turn the crank to get threads.

Use the other half of the dough in the form of a baking sheet passed through the number 3 (medium) notch of the Imperia machine. Place your template on the baking sheet and with a cutter cut out 2 rounded rectangles 3.5 cm high.

Start by taking a thread and then place it on one of the rectangles, giving it a curved shape. Cut out a piece of baking paper, place it on the thread you have just put on, run your finger over it to weld the thread to the dough without crushing it. Add two more threads completely glued to the first one, continue to make your drawings of three threads as you wish. Cut out the excess threads with a flexible blade and following the curves.

Cut the protruding wires with a flexible blade and follow the curves. If you don't have drilling tools, make the holes to hang your loops now, otherwise the drilling is always better done after baking with a drill or chuck.

Start baking at 120 degrees in a traditional oven for 30 minutes.

Wait until the dough is cold before piercing your earrings. Thread a ring and then pass it through the ear stud.
