Wrap the brass wire around a glass or triboulet to the desired size, making several turns. On this model, we made 6 turns. The thicker the bracelet, the stiffer it will be. The wire unravels easily so hold it tight.

In this jewelry tutorial we will see how to make rush bracelets with metal wire. The wire used here is a rather hard gold/copper brass wire. It is anti-tarnish treated for a longer life. You can also do this tutorial with Gold Filled wire or 925 Silver wire. You can find these options at the bottom of the page in the variations section.
This method will allow you to make personalized weekly bracelets at a lower cost, at least with the brass wire. Gold Filled and 925 silver are much more expensive, but they are also more noble materials than brass. The coil of gold-plated brass costs a little less than 3 euros per 9 m and will allow you to make 5 large bracelets, or 6 small bracelets of 7 cm in diameter. Then, you will just have to personalize them with the beads you like.
There is no clasp on this model. So remember to measure your hand size with a tape measure. You can then use a triboulet to form your bracelet. It is a cone with several dimensions so you can test or form bracelets of different sizes.
Another tip: The wire ends can scratch. To solve this problem, there are wire end rounders. You can also use UV LED resin to protect the end.

Wrap the brass wire around a glass or triboulet to the desired size, making several turns. On this model, we made 6 turns. The thicker the bracelet, the stiffer it will be. The wire unravels easily so hold it tight.

Wrap a piece of tape or masking tape around the wire to hold it in place while you wrap the wire. Take a piece of brass wire about 2 inches long and wrap it around the bracelet in 5 turns. Wrap it around the wire end of the bracelet to hold it in place. If you can't wrap the wire with your fingers, use a nylon-tipped flat clip to tighten the end of the wire while you wrap it with your other hand. Make sure to squeeze.
Thread a bead and wind the wire onto the bracelet a little further. Trim the excess wire and remove the masking tape.

Decorate the bracelet with beads in several places. In this photo, we put 2 gold metal spinners and a round PureCrystal bead.
