Video tutorial allowing you to make a pair of polymer clay earrings with foliage patterns and small flowers in relief. We give you a tip to create his drawings because the work is based on a pattern made from a silkscreen that is to say a stencil dedicated to the polymer clay.
Step 1
Take white dough, pass the roller then pass it through the dough machine to a medium notch. Place your silkscreen on the polymer surface then pass the roller over the assembly so that the 2 parts are in good contact. Put green paint on a card, spread the acrylic on the stencil, scrape off the excess and gently remove your silkscreen to wash it immediately. Leave to dry for 5 minutes.
2nd step
Choose your cookie cutter to take shapes from your plate.
Stage 3
Take black dough, roll small filaments under your fingers that you will place on your design following the lines of the branches. Take a small piece of baking paper to press the pieces of pasta placed on the pattern so that they do not move, be careful not to deform them.
Step 4
Take very little green dough, pass it through the dough machine to a fine notch. Cut small leaves 2 to 3 mm long using a cutter. Place them on the leaf designs, cut the length to mimic the central rib.
Step 5
Make two mixes of colors from white and red to get two different roses, one dark and a second pastel. Make micro balls with the two roses and red to form flowers. Keep pink paste to take two rounds with an 11 mm cookie cutter which will be the ear studs.
Step 6
Bake your pieces in a traditional oven at 120 degrees for 30 minutes.
You can sand the edge and the back of your pieces with a fine grain abrasive so that it does not scratch the material like grain 1000 or 1500. Drill your pieces, glue your circles on the ear studs, add a ring to connect the elements.
