Where can I find a free bead weaving pattern?
On Perles & Co, of course! We're offering you not one new pattern, but 4! To make these pretty dolls with their little berets.
We'd like to thank our partner Coeur Citron for this lovely tutorial, and invite you to take a look at her website to discover her world.
You can now make a bead weaving tutorial using the bead weaving tutorial.
Take a look at all our Miyuki bead weaving charts- you'll be spoilt for choice!
These brickstitch woven dolls are not particularly difficult for beginners.
Coeur Citron has selected several colors that she has long used for her different characters: 4 hair colors, two lipstick colors, and 5 references to create a "healthy glow" effect on your characters.
For more references, see Coeur Citron's article on faces and hair colors in bead weaving.
Unfortunately, on these figures, the center line is recessed, meaning that the bead at the end of the row is lower than the beads on the surrounding rows: so you won't be able to thread a ring through this bead to secure your hook.
Here's one of the solutions I've found: glue a pastille to the back of your weave, making sure that the ring is well centered. Once your pastille is glued in place, all you have to do is thread your ear hook!
