Create whimsical DIY jewelry with these Miyuki 11/0 Black Sliperit seed beads, ideal for bracelets, necklaces and regular designs with iridescent highlights.
These Miyuki 11/0 seed beads have a round, calibrated shape. Their dark hue, close to deep black, is enlivened by iridescent reflections in changing shades, combining purplish, anthracite and slightly metallic tones depending on the angle of the light. What's special about these pearls? They have a Czech coating. With a diameter of around 2 mm and a fine hole, they ensure smooth threading, especially for techniques requiring several passes of thread.
What to do with Miyuki beads?
These beads can be easily integrated into a variety of DIY projects. They are ideal for making peyote weave bracelets, brick stitch motifs and fine necklaces. Their iridescent appearance creates interesting contrasts with matte or natural pearls. For example, they can be combined with freshwater pearls in a necklace project like that of our designer. They are also suitable for simpler creations, such as elastic bracelets. These rocailles can be used with nylon thread, polyester thread or needlepoint for precision work.
Whether you're just starting out or want to deepen your techniques, these beads allow you to explore different approaches to weaving. Technical sheets detail the basics, such as choosing the right yarns, using the right needles and managing tension for a clean finish. With simple tools like a beading mat or a fine needle, it's easier to organize your work and create more regular designs.
