The polymer clay will be lighter and therefore easy to wear around the neck, on the ears or on the wrist.

Themarbled effect is very easy to reproduce with polymer clay, even for beginners who are getting into the world of DIY. Follow the steps to learn how to make a faux black marble effect with polymer clay.
Polymer pastes are miscible with each other. We chose to mix black Fimo clay with Cernit Nature Granit clay to make the base and white acrylic paint to make the marbling.
But you can choose the polymer pastes you want to create the marbled effect you want. Everything is possible! We even made a white marbled effect in polymer.

Tutorial steps

Step 1
Learn how to create a black marble effect in polymer : Step 1

Take 2 bars of your black Fimo bread and 2 other bars of Cernit nature granit.
Mix them to obtain a homogeneous color.

Step 2
Learn how to create a black marble effect in polymer : Step 2

Run your mixture through thedough machine on the wide side. (If you prefer, you can use a rolling pin, but your sheet will be less even).
Use theembosser to cook only the surface of the dough, positioning yourself 3-4 cm above the dough. Stay about 15 seconds per baking area.
Be careful not to stay too long and bake the entire dough.
Stretch your baking sheet by hand to make it crack.

Cover your cracked plate with white acrylic paint. Wipe off the paste immediately so that the paint only stays in the cracks.
