Wrap Bracelet
In summary

The wrap bracelet is a piece of jewelry wrapped around the wrist, made up of a cord and a variety of beads, adaptable to any style. To make it, you'll need a cord, beads of various materials, and a button for closure. The length of the cord varies according to the number of strands you want, from 57 cm for one strand to 190 cm for five strands.

Here it is how to create a wrap bracelet.

Material and advice :
You need a needle.
Thread, you can use all kind of threads like leather thread, cotton waxed... For this example we used european cotton waxed cord 1.3 mm Beige.
One button, we used a mother-of-pearl button 15 mm Violet.
Some beads, you can use round beads, faceted beads, cubes... For this example we used 3 bags of Polaris rounds 6 mm Light Peach x10.
C-lon thread, we used the fil C-Lon D Rose.

Trick: to feel more comfortable while stringing the beads, hang the 'button' end of the bracelet on a pin, to hold the bracelet.

Pass the thread through the needle, double it and tie a knot at the ends of the thread.

Step 4
Wrap Bracelet : Step 4

Attach the end of the C-lon thread to the waxed cotton, either by pricking the needle into the waxed cotton or by tying a knot around the waxed cotton.

Step 5
Wrap Bracelet : Step 5

Thread a polaris ring onto the C-lon wire. Clamp the polaris ring against the waxed cotton.

Wrap Bracelet : Step 7

Iron the needle in the polaris round by passing the C-lon thread over the waxed cotton.

Step 8

Thread a second Polaris round onto the needle.
Thread it under the waxed cotton. Continue and thread 25 more polaris rounds. Tie a knot around the waxed cotton and cut off the excess C-lon thread.

Step 9
Wrap Bracelet : Step 9

For a better hold in time, I advise you:
- to burn the thread protruding from the knot, using aThread Zap or a lighter.
- or to put a dot of glue always on the thread protruding from the knot. Tie a knot with the waxed cotton at the edge of the last polaris round.

Step 10
Wrap Bracelet : Step 10

Leave about 2 cm of waxed cotton to be able to pass the button and make a second knot. Cut the ends of the thread, for a better result you can burn the ends of the waxed cotton.
You can also leave a few millimeters of thread over.
